It depends on what you are wanting to attract. All trees harbour life, the amount of insects in a tree is truly astonishing sometimes! If you are wanting to attract larger animals like owls, rosellas, possums, micro bats etc. they require specific sized and orientated hollows, so not all trees are viable.
